We believe in Jesus Christ, the author, and creator of life. We believe he came into the world, lived as a man, and died that we (and you) might experience real life through a relationship with Him and His Father.

Currently Donnell is reading and absorbing information about church and culture. The Postmodern transition has taken a hold of his intellectual life at the present and is challenging the way he was taught to do ministry and how to be the Church. Donnell is interested in Postmodernity and the effect it will have on the modern day church. Donnell wonders if the Church will realize that it is in the midst of a chaging culture and whether it will become missional in order tell God's story to this changing culture.

In an attempt to ground himself in this transition, Donnell started a small discussion group to tackle some of the visible changes that are being observed in the church and in the culture. The group meets every now and then over dinner to discuss either one or two of the articles to the right, or some other culturally relevant topic.

In order to understand what some see as the biggest shift in culture since the Enlightenment, Donnell started to read some books on Postmodernism and its effected on the Modern Church. Right now Donnell is reading "The Church on the Other Side" by Brian McLaren, "Postmodern Pilgrims" by Leonard Sweet, and "Who is my Neighbor" by Rich Nathan. These books in their own right have been challenging Donnell's thinking about ministry in the Postmodern age.
