What are the prevailing issues facing the church today?
What do you think we need be doing to reach the world for
Christ?
Some leaders say that presenting the four spiritual laws
as the presentation of the gospel is failing to reach this
culture with the message of Christ, if you agree with this
statement what do you think God is saying to you about communicating
his gospel to the world?
If we accept that we are in the middle of a transition from
Modernity into Postmodernity what if anything needs to happen
in order to reach the culture largely effected by this transition?
What are your observations about the participation of our
generation in the life and the body of the church?
Do you agree with Leonard Sweet's view of Postmoderns? Do
you believe that Postmoderns are largely seeking an EPIC life
(Experiential, Participatory, Image Rich, and Communal)?
How would you define the Postmodern desire? Would you define
the Postmodern desire as a desire for community or experience
or both?
What do you think about Todd Hunter's description of the
Missional Church?
What about his description of the Missional Church excites
you, scares you, or concerns you?
When we think of the church what comes to mind?
What does the church of today, and what will the church of
tomorrow look like?
How do we express the church as something more than a building,
a set of events, or a gathering around a popular person?
