After our first big winter storm of the year, I went outside this morning to see why a man was standing in the middle of Dixboro Road directing traffic. I initially thought he was in need of assistance--car broke down or something.

I quickly discovered that my telephone wire was hanging in the middle of the street blocking traffic on Dixboro Road.

I turned back around to call the phone company and as I was walking down my driveway, I discovered that a tree had fallen on my car. Can you believe it? Anyway, I was able to move the car from under the fallen tree and not a scratch. God is good!
